The Most Brutal Murders Of Christians Is About To Happen

The Muslim government in Pakistan have now sentenced to death a Christian husband and wife who we have been desperately trying to rescue. Their names are Shafqat Emmanuel and Shagufta Kasuar, and they were arrested after they were groundlessly accused of blasphemy against Islam.

In the middle of the trial, before the sentence was made, the Muslims in the courtroom began to loudly and wildly shout verses from the Koran, and declared that if the judge did not prescribe the death penalty, that they would make sure that the two Christians would be killed anyway.

The cries of the persecuted are only heard by a few, while those in the supposed objective media have been resistant to even hear them. The Telegraph wrote a report on the death sentence of these two Christians, and they were utterly indifferent to the persecution taking place every day in Pakistan against the saints. (1)

On TuesdayRescue Christians will be filing a motion to reverse and overturn the conviction and acquit the accused, who have been given the death penalty based on no evidence.

As Rescue Christians has learned from its contact from Pakistan, two men, Muhmmad Hussain and Tehsil Bar Association President, Anwar Mansoor Goraya, claimed to have received blasphemous text messages in English from the number registered on Shagufta Kausar’s name.

But in a diligent investigation, the SIM card of the cell phone was observed and found to be not even registered under Shafqat and Shagufta. Moreover, both of these two Christians cannot even spell or write in the English language, and thus would have been completely unable to write the text messages.

Therefore, they were wrongly accused and the entire trial was conspired for the purpose of slaughtering more Christian victims. With such sinister ways of thinking can we not help but say with the prophet Isaiah:

The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace. (Isaiah 59:8)

The husband, Shafqat, is lame and crippled to the waist down, and not even his infirmities, which demand all the sympathies of those with humanity, have even provoked the Muslim people nor the judge to tears. These warriors for Christ are now in the wilderness of perdition, where Satan sits and merciless beasts roam about senselessly searching for blood, and where the aspirations of evil hearts loom from the veiling dark clouds of hell’s tempest.

After Asia Bibi, Shagufta is the second Christian women to be sentenced to death in Pakistan.

Rescue Christians has done an interview with Shafqat’s father and his poor children, who are currently been taking care of by our team in Pakistan:

In this obsession with bringing violence upon the saints, we cannot help but be reminded of that most bloody time of man’s history, when “the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” (Genesis 6:5)

The archers of Lucifer have taken their aim on the most helpless of people, for “lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.” (Psalm 11:2) The Pakistani government is amongst these very archers who advance their diabolical and false god.

The judges in Pakistan are controlled not by prudence, nor reason nor justice, but by the lawlessness of the mob, the the morose and savagely violent disposition of the masses, the sullen and volatile bloodlust of the herds of pagan Muslims, and the empty and heathen prayers of wizardly imams who each day vomit out the most sinister verses from the despicable book of Muhammad, demanding the wanton slaughter of Christians so to indulge the people to get drunk off the blood of the saints.

As Rescue Christians has learned from its Pakistani contact, the judge, Amir Habib, has given a death sentence to Shafqat Emmanuel and Shagufta Kasuar. Our contact from Pakistan has appealed to numerous reputable forums within the legal system of Pakistan, and no one has heard his cries for mercy.

In such a parlous and uncertain situation, where misery rules the thoughts of the wolves, and eternity the contemplations of the sheep, where moribund fates take hold of hated saints, of whom the world is not worthy, we are compelled by Heaven’s will to recite the words of St. Paul, when he described with dire and yet ascending words, on how the saints of old “had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented” (Hebrews 11:36-37)

The trials conspired by cruel men have not stopped, and the mocking courts of the heathen are just as alive as they were when St. Paul was beheaded and St. Peter was crucified in a manner worthy of his Lord. Shagufta and Shafqat have been given the death penalty alongside a pastor named Adnan, and another Christian named Asif Pervaiz. Rescue Christians’ contact from Pakistan has been screaming at the international community that more Christians are going to be killed under blasphemy law, and God willing his cries will not be in vain. As he tells us:

For the last five months we have been yelling in front of the international community that all the victims of blasphemy law will be awarded with the same punishment, especially now after Shagufta Kausar and Shafqat Emmanuel, pastor Adnan and Asif Pervaiz will be given the death sentence shortly.

Our Pakistani contact for Rescue Christians also gave us this very impactful warning:

If a bold step would not be taken from the Christian community soon then it would become impossible for them to live in Pakistan.

The truth of these words have been revealing themselves ever so clearer under the heartfelt and dimming sunlight of destiny, which has been struck and attacked ceaselessly by the dark and turbid clouds of Satan and his archers, and though their arrows are aimed for the sheep, the brightness of holiness blinds their eyes, and their attack is made useless.

Let the holiness of Christians dissipate the darkness of the devil. I ask you to please support Rescue Christians, and make a donation to help us liberate this poor Christian husband and wife.

The Supernatural Thing an Ex-Muslim Claims Guided Him to Christianity

Author Nabeel Qureshi has detailed his journey from Islam to Christianity in his new book, “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus,” describing how he believes a God-given vision and dreams led him to embrace Jesus Christ.

Qureshi, a lifelong Muslim who was born in the U.S. after his parents immigrated from Pakistan, recently recalled a series of events that led him to appeal to God to answer a spiritual question that was eating away at his soul: Should he follow Jesus or Muhammad?

“I needed to hear from God himself who he was,” he wrote in an op-ed for Christianity Today.

Despite years of embracing and defending Islam,Qureshi said he became “overwhelmed by the evidence” for Christianity during his college years as he more intensely studied Islam, feeling as though the faith of his childhood couldn’t withstand scrutiny.

Qureshi met David Wood at Old Dominion University in Virginia, a classmate and a Christian who quickly became his best friend. The two would frequently debate theology, leading Qureshi to begin questioning Islam’s pertinence.

After graduating college, Qureshi said he began regularly praying and asking God to show himself, and he said the Lord answered.

“I remember in the Quran it says, ‘Allah hears those who call out to him.’ In the Bible it says, ‘Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened,’” Qureshi told the Christian Post. “So when I was asking God for these dreams I’m basically saying, ‘God of theQuran and God of the Bible, both of you are saying that you will answer me if I call out to you, so whoever you are God, I need you now.’”

He claims to have had a vision and three dreams by the time he completed his first year of medical school. There was one dream that he said was particularly memorable.

“In it I was standing at the threshold of a strikingly narrow door, watching people take their seats at a wedding feast. I desperately wanted to get in, but I was not able to enter, because I had yet to accept my friend David’s invitation to the wedding,” he wrote. “When I awoke, I knew what God was telling me, but I sought further verification. It was then that I found the parable of the narrow door, in Luke 13:22–30. God was showing me where I stood.”

While he felt God was guiding him toward Christianity, Qureshi struggled with the idea of abandoning Islam — something he knew would separate him from his family and bring his parents shame. But he said he simply couldn’t escape the inevitable.

He converted, finding intense comfort in the Bible, but says his parents were “shattered” and remain that way even today.

In his interview with the Christian Post, Qureshi explained that Muslim countries don’t share the Western ideal of being able to “commune with God,” noting that this is a Christian concept. Dreams, many times, are the solution to this connective problem.

“In Islam, for example, people don’t expect to have God talk back to them personally, as the Holy Spirit isn’t living in them,” he said. “They ask God for guidance through dreams; that’s like the one way that Muslims expect to hear from God.”

Qureshi shared examples from his own upbringing, including his father’s use of the salat istikharaprayer, an invocation to ask God to guide one’s path. He said his father would use this when attempting to get answers about taking a new job or when making other major choices.

This practice comes from a hadith, or Islamic tradition, in which the Prophet Muhammad said, “The dreams of the faithful are prophetic,” according to Qureshi. Another hadith reads, “dreams are 1/46th of revelation.” Both of these sentiments are part of Islamic tradition.

This isn’t the first time a Muslim-turned-Christian has claimed that Jesus reached out through a dream.

Christians Must Bear Arms And Become Militant, Or Else They Will Be Eradicated

Palestinian Christians in Tel-Aviv, Israel, have gathered together to openly and boldly support Israel, and its protection of Christians, and to call out on the EU’S indifference toward the massacre of Christians. They also came to reveal the plan to eradicate Christians in the Middle East, and to declare that Christian’s have the right to bear arms.

A Christian cleric who led the procession proclaimed:

There is a systematic targeting against Christian, to eradicate the Middle East from Christians

A priest named Ghassan Abdo, who also led the rally, declared his support for Israel, and the right for Christians to bear arms:

That is why we are here, the Christians have a right to live. The Christians have a right to bear arms

These Christians are preaching a militant form of Christianity, which is what Christendom needs. Christendom has been poisoned and tainted, not with true and zealous faith, but with the heresy of indifferentism. Where the sword of St. Peter needs to be unsheathed, it has been thrown away; where the sword of justice needs to be executed, it is held in vain, and “where the revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil” is to be present, he is absent. The time will come when militant Christianity will be obligatory, a necessity. Here is the video showing the rally:

Here is a video showing the Armenian Christians who fled the recent massacre of Kessab in Syria, showing their lamentable plight and unendurable pain:

School To 8-Year-Old: Jesus Is No Hero

Second grade students at Cerro Gordo Elementary School in North Carolina were recently given a fairly common assignment. The kids were asked to think about who they consider to be a hero and begin writing a paper explaining their decision.

When 8-year-old Ryleigh Watts returned to class and informed her teacher who she wanted to honor, however, her mother said she was told to “write about something different.”

Who was the proposed subject of young Ryleigh’s paper? Jesus Christ.

“I think she should have freedom to write about what she wants to write about,” Heather Watts said of her daughter. “If she wants to write about Jesus, she should write about Jesus.”

According to a local NBC affiliate, the school disputes the controversy, explaining “we have learned that students were not restricted from writing on any topic of their choosing.”

The official statement encourages “our parents and guardians to contact or visit their child’s school to address any concerns.”

Ryleigh and her mother, however, are not budging from their original story. Watts met with both the school’s principal and her daughter’s teacher and reports that the situation has not been rectified. The young girl, she confirmed, must still find a new hero for her report.

The ordeal, Watts concluded, amounts to the school trampling on a student’s constitutional rights. Freedom of speech and religion are clearly delineated in the Bill of Rights; and, as she noted, both are being attacked through this assignment.

Obviously, students in school are held to a somewhat stricter standard than Americans in other environments. Rejecting an 8-year-old’s report based only on her admiration of Jesus Christ, however, is objectively discriminatory.

Much to the chagrin of many leftists, there is no basis for schools – or any public place – to ban personal displays of Christianity. Activists across the nation, however, seem to be pursuing that very goal.

In reality, Ryleigh’s choice made much more sense than any other imaginable subject. Christ left a perfect place to lay down his life for all mankind. If ever there was a story of heroism, the Gospel is it.

Unfortunately, today’s morally bankrupt public education system apparently has no room for such a message of love and hope.

Profane rappers like Jay-Z are heralded as role models by this administration, while kids idolize vampires and other monsters brought to life by leftists in Hollywood. Either of these choices, one might assume, would have been enthusiastically embraced by Ryleigh’s teacher.

Christians’ Throats Slit in Pagan Slaughterhouse

EXTREME CAUTION ADVISED: The videos linked and embedded in this story are extremely graphic, showing brutal executions, and the bodies of those killed in those executions.

SaifAlAldubi

After exposing videos of “ritual human sacrifices” of Christians by Muslims, a former Palestinian Liberation Organization member-turned-Christian has discovered a new set of shocking videos that show human slaughterhouses in which non-Muslims are executed.

The videos, posted by Walid Shoebat, and his son, Theodore Shoebat, are horrific, showing heads neatly lined up against a wall and bodies suspended by their feet in a room.

Also shown is the testimony of a witness who was threatened with being “sacrificed.”

“I have never seen something like this,” Shoebat told WND. “I have been investigating this story for the past two weeks. The story is probably the most horrific I have ever [done]. It proves with footage actual systematic [sl]aughterhouses of human beings, including Christians in Syria.”

The witness video, translated by Shoebat’s organization, Rescue Christians, includes the testimony of Saif Al-Adlubi, who inexplicably was identified for “sacrifice” but then not killed before government soldiers arrived.

“This is the reality of Islam, it is a pagan and utterly depraved and sadistic religion. It takes the soul of a man and purges any remnants of human affection from his very being. Look to your own soul, and understand your own obligation to help the Christians,” Shoebat said.

Al-Adlubi reported witnessing Armenians who were waiting their turn to be slaughtered.

An “Egyptian butcher … grabbed the neck of one elderly Armenian Christian,” Al-Adlubi said.

He said the executioner then said, “You’re an aged man and your neck is soft and I don’t have to sharpen my knife for you.”

The report blames the “gruesome systematic human extermination centers” of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIS, a radical Islamic organization in Syria and the Middle East.

Al-Adlubi is described in the report as a Muslim fundamentalist who joined the Free Syrian Army and was a militant and a media agent for FSA. He was captured but later “made it out when the Syrian militia” defeated the rebels in that location.

Al-Adlubi said he was called a heathen, “kafir,” and he responded, “How could I be considered kafir if I pray and fast?”

“You are ‘murtad’ (apostate),” he was told.

“I asked him, what is my destiny. I want to get a closure. What is it, a year two years in prison?” Al-Adlubi said.

He said he was told, “Rejoice, you will be sacrificed.”

Al-Adlubi reported seeing “bodies of young men who were systematically slaughtered and disemboweled.”

“The slaughterhouse was on a hill. It is secluded and is void of any homes nearby,” he said. “I witnessed lifeless bodies hanging upside down as if they were slaughtered sheep. In the center of the slaughterhouse is a huge Egyptian about two meters high. He was the one doing the slaughtering.”

Editor’s Note: EXTREME CAUTION ADVISED: The videos linked and embedded in this story are extremely graphic, showing brutal executions, and the bodies of those killed in those executions.

The interview:

Shoebat said several Arabic language news sources, Alwatan, AlJazeera and Mufaker, corroborated some of the details.

Reported Shoebat: “The prison centers where the ISIS (Da’ish) controls have become miniatures of what was during the Nazi SS extermination camps, except the ISIS carries out the extermination in a much more horrific way. Da’ish transforms the prisons into kangaroo courts with systematic slaughterhouses and killing centers to exterminate Christians and Muslims who disagree with the Takfiri ideology. Once they are found guilty, the way they deal with the victims was as if they were cattle.”

He said a Syrian Christian named Kamil Toume also confirmed the reports, with video, purportedly of the Siba district slaughterhouse in Homs, Syria.

Editor’s Note: EXTREME CAUTION ADVISED: The videos linked and embedded in this story are extremely graphic, showing brutal executions, and the bodies of those killed in those executions.

In an interview, Toume brought additional information, Shoebat reported.

“You never heard of Umm Muhammad slaughterhouse?” Toume asked.

Additional footage shows two slaughterhouses, one in Bayyada and the other, from several years ago, in Al-Siba.

Al-Adlubi said the victims included Armenian and Syrian Christians along with Shiite and Sunni Muslims.

Said Walid Shoebat: “The stories told by Al-Adlubi and Toume add up. Toume sent us some footage that circulated the Syrian community after the human slaughterhouse finally ended, and the ugly remaining evidence was revealed when Umm Muhammad’s slaughterhouse in the Siba’ district in Homs was busted by Syrian police three years ago in August 2011.”

Shoebat said Al-Adlubi’s story “also checks out from footage obtained from Al-Bayyada, another slaughterhouse, which Rescue Christians was able to obtain footage from.”

“And just as Al-Adlubi stated, they were hanging upside down, headless, like slaughtered sheep. The heads were removed from the root of the chest cavity just as Al-Adlubi stated when describing how the Egyptian was doing his meticulous methods and how Toume described the Umm-Muhammad slaughterhouse in Al-Siba’ district.”

Video from the Al-Bayyada slaughterhouse:

Editor’s Note: EXTREME CAUTION ADVISED: The videos linked and embedded in this story are extremely graphic, showing brutal executions, and the bodies of those killed in those executions.

“We report this story because of the silence on the systematic killing of Christians, Shiite minorities and even Sunni Muslims in Syria who disagree with the Takfirist theology. The story is reminiscent to the initial reporting on the extermination of European Jewry and other minorities when little coverage was given to the truth in these days,” Shoebat said.

WND reported last week Shoebat had uncovered videos showing Muslims conducting “ritual human sacrifices” by slitting the throats of their victims or putting a bullet in their heads.

Shoebat noted the speaker in one video uses the term Qurban just before gunfire erupts and men lined up in a row fall to the floor one by one. Shoebat explained that the Arabic term “can only signify a sacrifice, which indicates that the filmed slaughter is nothing but a ritual human sacrifice.”

Another video shows the throat of the “sacrifice” being slit with a knife.

“Christians are being killed in these very rituals every day, and the bloodshed will not stop. We must work together to rescue them,” Shoebat said.

Shoebat describes himself as a former “radicalized Muslim willing to die for the cause of jihad.”

According to his biography, he arrived in the United States in 1978 to study in Chicago where he was recruited at a “terror conference” by Jamal Said, the founder of the Islamic Association of Palestine, a front group for Hamas that later launched the Washington, D.C.-based Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Shoebat said he converted to Christianity in 1994. He now is raising funds to assist Middle East Christians through a foundation he created called RescueChristians.org.

WND recently reported that Sister Hatune Dogan claimed members of the jihadist factions in Syria trying to oust President Bashar al-Assad are draining the blood of Christians they behead and selling vials to Islamic radicals for $100,000 apiece.

The Christians, she said, are beheaded in ceremonies in which they are forced to kneel, with their hands and feet bound as the Muslim radicals read a death sentence imposed because the victim refuses to renounce Christianity and embrace Islam.

WND also has reported that the ISIS, considered to be the most ruthless of the Sunni Islamic militant groups fighting in Syria, has ordered a Christian community in Raqqa, Syria, to pay nearly 38 pounds of gold as a “guarantee of their safety.” The alternative offered was death.

The videos discovered by Shoebat are graphic.

Christians Must Become Militant If They Are To Survive

(Walid Shoebat) — If Christians are to survive, they are going to have to become militant, rather than relying on the watered down secular Conservative Movement.

The Conservative Movement is becoming a cult. It has become a group that accepts only a number of morals from Christianity, while being either indifferent or sometimes vindictive toward the theology and spirituality of Christianity, reducing the entire system of Christ to a mere private and individual belief. Allow me to lend you an example of what I mean.

In a rally organized by the Mormon, Glenn Beck, in which Beck promoted the heresy of Universalism, numerous pastors attended as supporters of the cause for which the event stood. Of these pastors was Jerry Falwell, Jr., and when he was asked in regards to the theological differences his Faith had with Beck’s, Jerry responded with these dangerously accepted words:

Glenn Beck’s Mormon faith is irrelevant. People of all faiths, all races and all creeds spoke and attended the event. Nobody was there to endorse anyone else’s faith, but we were all there to honor our armed forces and to call the people of America to restore honor.

Jerry belittled the heresies which Beck preached, esteeming the rally as simply one to “restore honor” in the country, without even admitting the dangerous ideas that the Mormon promoted, which can be easily identified in this video:

While Jerry claims he just wants to help “restore honor,” he illustrates the worst lack of honor: an absence of honor towards God, as he harlots himself to the false god of Beck, which is the same as the feigned deity of Muhammad. Jerry, and the rest of the pastors who attended the event, praised a Mormon and disregarded orthodox theology, are no different than Rob Bell who, in this video, is seen welcoming and clapping his hands to both the Islamic religion and the Dalai Lama:

The only difference between Bell and his ilk, and Beck and those like him, is that one is obviously and blatantly evil, while the latter is cloaked with a conservative and clean cut look, and comes with societally accepted words of patriotism and feigned piety.

Herein lies the central creed of the Conservative Movement: believe in a god (doesn’t matter which one); say you are pro-life (while being indifferent to contraception, which prevents, and with some products, destroys life); say you are for traditional marriage, while trumping the freedom for homosexuals to indulge in their deviant acts (as long as it is within the privacy of their own home, of course); say you believe in tolerance for all faiths because that is “what the Founding Fathers wanted.”

I may have missed something in the description of the secular creed (and if I did, forgive me), but these tenets are, overall, what the Conservative Movement is composed of. One great example of this is Ted Cruz exhorting Obama to combat Putin’s anti-homosexual laws, as you can see in this video I made:

If Ted is truly the Christian he says he is, he would not be calling out for the rights and freedoms of blaspheming rock bands like Pussy Riot and sodomites.

The positive aspect of the Conservative Movement is that it contains some Christian morality, but its negative nature is illustrated by its utter lack of fastidiousness toward orthodox theology.

If theology truly is irrelevant, then by this same logic the theology of Obama, with all its support and sympathies toward Islam, should be equally irrelevant.

With that said, the main aspect of the Conservative Movement that is destructive, is that it forces a number of Christian morals into a political sphere, and deems the whole of Christianity to an individual’s own spirituality and interpretation, without ever conceding, or wanting to concede, that Christianity itself is political.

Christianity is not a Faith designed for private belief, but for the universal expansion of God’s truth with the intent of vanquishing the lies of Satan.

The Spirit of Christianity, is revolution. When Nebuchadnezzar demanded that the people of God bow down to the golden image, they expressed their revolt by refusing to comply; when Mordecai was expected to supplicate towards Haman, he outrightly spurned such a thought; and when Antiochus commanded that the Hebrews make sacrifices to Jupiter, the Maccabees took up their swords and fought hand to hand and blade to blade.

If Christians are going to survive, not only will we have to become militant, but we will have to cooperate in rescuing persecuted Christians from being massacred by Muslims throughout the Islamic world. Please donate to save Christian lives in Syria, Iraq, and Pakistan.

Christianity permeates every aspect of society, in politics, family life, arts, music, literature, and war.

When St. Peter struck off the ear of the guard, Christ commanded him to “Put up thy sword into the sheath” (John 18:11), which indicates that the sword was never discarded, but that it remained within the grasp of the Church. St. Peter was reprimanded by Christ, not for the use of the sword itself, but because it was not the appropriate occasion to execute his weapon, for Christ told him, “the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?” (John 18:11). Christ, then, allowed Himself to be killed and did not desire that the zeal of Peter hinder His ultimate mission.

St. Peter attacking the guard

St. Peter attacking the guard

There is, therefore, an appropriate time for the Church to unsheathe the sword that St. Peter possessed. This leads us to the theology of The Two Swords of St. Peter, a doctrine long forgotten today, but strongly emphasized in the ancient Church. The concept is centrally based on Luke 22, when Jesus tells His disciples, “he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one,” and St. Peter responds, “Lord, behold, here are two swords”, and Jesus says, “It is enough.”

One sword represents the temporal, or political power of the Church, and the other signifies the spiritual authority of the Church. When St. Peter declared the final decision in the Council of Jerusalem, condemning obligatory circumcision, as is recorded in Acts 15, he was unsheathing his spiritual sword against the Judaizers.

St. Peter with sword

St. Peter with sword

When St. Peter affirmed that “We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29), he was unsheathing the political sword, in that he commanded defiance toward the political power of the Jewish leaders when they were attempting to prevent the Christians from preaching. When St. Peter was upholding this authority, he was zealously following what Christ commanded specifically of him:

strengthen your brethren. (Luke 22:32)

And in strengthening his brethren, he was fortifying them against Satan, protecting them from the dark powers through the two swords.

The Last Supper

The Last Supper

St. Peter struck off the ear of the guard with the political sword, and yet it was not discarded but still remained in his sheath. Therefore, the political sword remains in the hands of the Church. But when Christ reprimanded St. Peter for his use of the sword, it was an indication that the Church was not designed to be a central government, or the only political authority ruling over nations and punishing evil doers. Therefore, while the Church is in possession of the political sword, she does not strike her enemies herself, but commands temporal rulers to use it against her persecutors. Thus St. Bernard writes to the Church:

Both [swords] are yours, but both must not be taken out by your hand (1)

St. Bernard furthermore declares to the Church:

The material sword has to be taken out by the hand of the soldier at the command of the emperor but subject to the nod of the supreme priest. (2)

St. Bernard

St. Bernard

In the necessity of a holy war, against heretics and pagans who are persecuting Christians, it is the Church that uses the state as a vehicle to unleash the political sword on God’s enemies.

We see this illustrated in the prophet Samuel when he commanded king Saul:

Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey. (I Samuel 15:3)

We also see this in the Church, when Pope Callixtus III commanded a crusade in 1456 to fight off the Turks in Serbia, in what is called The Siege of Belgrade.

Now, this is not to say that the only ones with authority to fight against persecutors are government rulers. In times when the enemies of the Church are slaughtering Christians and there is no government righteous enough to help them, then in such a circumstance the Church may execute the political sword.

For Elijah gave this command to the people of Israel, and not the corrupt government of Ahab:

“Seize the prophets of Baal! Do not let one of them escape!” So they seized them; and Elijah brought them down to the Brook Kishon and executed them there.” (I Kings 18:40)

Elijah killing the prophets of Baal

Elijah killing the prophets of Baal

And the earliest Christians were ready to stone the guards if they arrested St. Peter and the other Apostles with violence:

Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned. (Acts 5:26)

Mattathias, the father of Judas Maccabeus, was a priest, and he did not hesitate to unsheathe his sword and slay the soldiers of Antiochus when they were forcing the people to worship their idols.

Moses slew the Egyptian who was abusing a Hebrew, an action St. Stephen esteemed to be one of justice, saying,

seeing one of them suffer wrong, he [Moses] defended and avenged him who was oppressed, and struck down the Egyptian. For he supposed that his brethren would have understood that God would deliver them by his hand, but they did not understand. (Acts 7:24-25)

Therefore, if Moses and Mattathias attacked their persecutors to protect themselves, then the Church has the same authority to protect herself.

St. Stephen

St. Stephen

In Christianity, there is not an absolute severing of Church from state, but rather a perfect harmony between the two. It is the state’s duty to resolve secular and political matters, while the Church is commissioned to deal with spiritual issues. But here is when the two entities come into harmony: when a political matter pertains to the spiritual well-being of the people, or is connected to any point of religion, it is the Church, and not the state, that has the authority to resolve it. Hence Christ commands St. Peter, the bearer of the two swords, to “Feed My sheep” (John 21:17), meaning to care for his flock, spiritually and temporally (when the temporal situation pertains to religion).

You may disagree with me, but the strength of your contention is easily revealed once it is put against the modern results of secular government (abortion, the homosexual agenda, etc). For in our times, it is the state, and not the Church, that dictates when life begins; it is the state, and not the Church, that determines what is and what is not marriage. I can give a number of more examples, but I will refrain for the sake of brevity.

St. Gregory VII beautifully explains this equilibrium between Church and state, when he wrote in one epistle:

Among other welcome expressions therein, this seemed especially calculated to advance the glory of the imperial government and also to strengthen the power of Holy Church, namely, that the empire and the priesthood should be bound together in harmonious union. For, as the human body is guided by two eyes for its physical illumination, so the body of Christ is guided and enlightened with spiritual light when these two offices work together in the cause of pure religion. (3)

Dante sublimely describes how the Church should direct the state for the purpose of spreading the Light of God throughout the world:

Let Caesar therefore show that reverence towards Peter which a firstborn son should show his father, so that, illumined by the light of paternal grace, he may the more effectively light up the world, over which he has been placed by Him alone who is ruler over all things spiritual and temporal. (4)

As the flesh must be governed by the spirit, so must the state be governed by the Church. The secular Conservative Movement wants us to think that the state must be ruled under a secular, but conservative government, without any acknowledgment toward theology or the nature of the true God. Their logic is the same as affirming that the spirit must be ruled by the flesh.

The secular conservatives will argue that they are not for the state overpowering the Church. But, what they will not admit, is that as the spirit and the flesh will always be in constant war with each other, so will the state and the Church be in continuous combat, ceaselessly fighting until one conquers the other, unless a harmony between the two is established, and the Two Swords of St. Peter are unsheathed against those who wish to enslave the saints and replace the sublime Law of Heaven with the lawlessness of antichrist.

If the Church is going to survive, it must stop cease this harlotry with secularism, and become militant. Christus Vincit!

Some Air Force Cadets So Angry Over What Happened With Bible Verses on Campus They Have Staged a ‘Revolt’

The leader of a church-state separatist group says that there’s a “revolt” underway at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., after officials there removed a Bible verse from a white board outside a cadet’s bedroom door following complaints that its presence was offensive.

Cadets angry over the Air Force Academy’s removal of the verse have since begun posting scripture from the Bible and the Koran on their whiteboards in solidarity, said Mikey Weinstein, president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation.

“The Air Force Academy has a revolt on their hands. What are they going to do?” Weinstein told TheBlaze Wednesday.

The Bible battle started after an unnamed cadet placed text from Galatians 2:20 on a whiteboard. It read, “I have been crucified with Christ therefore I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.”

Weinstein said 29 cadets and four faculty and staff members — 26 of whom he described as Catholic or Protestant — disagreed with the verse’s presence and reached out to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation to complain. Weinstein then contacted the Air Force Academy with concerns and the verse was subsequently removed.

“Had it been in his room — not a problem. It’s not about the belief. It’s about the time, the place and the manner,” Weinstein told conservative commentator Todd Starnes this week. “It clearly elevated one religious faith over all others at an already virulently hyper-fundamentalist Christian institution. It massively poured fundamentalist Christian gasoline on an already raging out-of-control conflagration of fundamentalist Christian tyranny, exceptionalism and supremacy at [the academy].”

Weinstein said posting verses outside a bedroom door is unacceptable and illegal because that’s part of the “working squadron area” — a central and public location where cadets assemble.

But it seems some at the academy disagreed with both the removal and with the activist’s assessment of the situation.

Weinstein shared an email with TheBlaze he said came from an unnamed agnostic cadet at the school highlighting the action that’s now underway.

“After the Fox News article was released about the Bible verse being removed from a cadet’s whiteboard, a population of the cadet wing has in turn responded with addition religious quotes placed outside their doors in the public hallways; one of which being the original quote that was removed,” the cadet’s alleged letter read.

It continued, “Theses posts, quotes, and comments on social media have created a hostile environment and have lead to a decrease in unit cohesion and morale and are unprofessional in the military environment.”

Weinstein is now calling on the Air Force Academy to take action against those individuals who are posting scripture messages outside their doors, though he indicated that he isn’t sure how widespread the problem is.

“It’s a toxic environment there,” Weinstein said of the academy. “When you have a law that is followed more in its breach than in its compliance … it’s worse than if you didn’t have the law at all.”

Weinstein cited an Air Force culture standards document which outlines how faith and religion should be handled within the Air Force.

2.11. Government Neutrality Regarding Religion. Leaders at all levels must balance constitutional protections for an individual’s free exercise of religion or other personal beliefs and the constitutional prohibition against governmental establishment of religion. For example, they must avoid the actual or apparent use of their position to promote their personal religious beliefs to their subordinates or to extend preferential treatment for any religion. Commanders or supervisors who engage in such behavior may cause members to doubt their impartiality and objectivity. The potential result is a degradation of the unit’s morale, good order, and discipline. Airmen, especially commanders and supervisors, must ensure that in exercising their right of religious free expression, they do not degrade morale, good order, and discipline in the Air Force or degrade the trust and confidence that the public has in the United States Air Force.

Weinstein said those who put Bible verses on their doors deserve “non-judicial punishment at the very least.”

Those who are put on trial for specific violations in the Air Force could see their pay docked, be kicked out or even go to jail, he said, though there is no indication that these ramifications would apply in this particular case.

Weinstein is willing to take the Air Force Academy to court if the issue isn’t resolved.

Air Force Academy spokesman Lt. Col. Brus Vidal told Starnes regarding officials’ removal of the first cadet’s verse, there was no misconduct and that the unnamed cadet won’t be punished.

He said there’s a “gray area” when it comes to one’s personal room and the hallway, where the message was posted.

“The whiteboards are for both official and personal use, but when a concern was raised we addressed it and the comment was taken down,” Vidal said.

Weinstein disagreed, saying that the incident showed “absolute misconduct” and that the individual should be punished.

Other legal analysts take a different stance on the matter.

“If the cadet didn’t violate any rules, then why was the quote removed?” Michael Berry, senior counsel for the conservative legal firm the Liberty Institute’s said in a statement. “It appears that the Air Force now believes Bible verses are a violation of AFI 1-1.”

In fact, Berry said the removal of the Bible verse and any punishment is actually a violation of the Department of Defense Instruction 1300.17, a provision that protects soldiers’ religious liberty.

“Unless it could have an adverse impact on military readiness, unit cohesion, and good order and discipline, the Military Departments will accommodate individual expressions of sincerely held beliefs (conscience, moral principles, or religious beliefs) of Service members in accordance with the policies and procedures in this instruction…,” the provision states in part.

Air Force Academy officials did not respond to a request for comment from TheBlaze.
