Jesus Is Muslim

“Jesus Is Muslim” Billboards Taken Down–Here’s How

Perhaps you are wondering what I am talking about.  Maybe you missed out on my commentary from last week.

If you did, you need to read it.  Otherwise, this commentary won’t make much sense to you.  The Muslims put up a series of billboards in Columbus, Ohio declaring “Jesus Is Muslim.”

Here is the story.  It is worth the read.  Jesus Is Muslim.

So we held our rally.  It poured down rain the entire time.  It is a wonder that anyone came.

But they did.  About 100 stout hearts battled the elements to stand up for Jesus.  There is a lot of good info on my Facebook page.  We have posted some great moments from the rally…vids of the powerful speakers.  It is worth your time to visit and read the reports.  Go here.

But the bottom line is that the Muslims took down the “Jesus Is Muslim” billboard.  You read that right…THEY TOOK DOWN THE SIGN!!

I don’t think you understand the significance of that statement.  We are not some powerful media outlet…we used social media to draw a crowd.  We didn’t ask them to take the sign down.  We didn’t whine and complain about how they dishonored Jesus.  We didn’t beg them to be nice.

We just showed up.  That’s it.  We showed up on the streets and called them liars.  They took down the sign.

It didn’t take a court order.  It didn’t require us burning down any building.  It didn’t require months of negotiations.  We simply showed up.  We told them their sign was a lie.  They made a weak attempt to defend it.  They said “anyone who submits to God is a Muslim.”  That was all they had.

We never once asked them to take the billboard down.  We believe in free-speech.  We made them blink.  They took the sign down.  Light always causes darkness to flee.

Watch this 2-minute video report.

Today, I would like to share with you a few take-a-ways from this episode.

Muslims use lies and deceit to advance Islam.  Although they call it a “religion of peace,” nothing could be further from the truth.  Just like Christianity, Islam has millions of followers who are “cultural Muslims,”  just like we have many “cultural Christians” in America.  A”cultural” adherent is often one who was born into the faith and has adopted it because it has been passed down generationally from their parents.

Usually, these followers are shallow.  Millions of Muslims are MINO…Muslims In Name Only.  They are peaceful and will not fight to death for their faith.  Just like millions of Christians…Christianity is a religion…not a way of life.  Just like Christians, many Muslims do not understand what their religion teaches.

True believers, on both sides, tend to be more radical.  A devout Christian dies for his faith.  A devout Muslim kills for his.  We better begin to recognize that difference (and soon.)  The closer Muslims get to following Mohammed, the more violent they become.  The closer Christians emulate Jesus, the more loving they will become.  True Christianity is driven by love.  True Islam is driven by hate.

One of the signs on the billboard said MUSLIMS LOVE JESUS TOO.  If that is true, why are the Muslims killing so many of Christ’s followers?

A few pastors did come to our event.  Most are from small, country churches that are not swayed by the glitz and glitter of “ministry.”  There are thousands of faithful, God-fearing pastors who are willing to lay down their lives for their faith.  But they are not unified.  They are not networked.  Many are awake and aware of what is going on in America.

The “soon coming rapture” theory is paralyzing this nation.  Christians will not fight back against evil because they have been taught by their pastors that bad is good, meaning the worse things get, the better it is.  That means Jesus’ return is right around the corner.  To fight evil is to fight against God.  That idea is anathema to Christianity.  Jesus said “occupy until I return.”

Most Christians only occupy pews.  They feel no responsibility to fight for holiness in the world.  They ignore all of the action verbs in the Scriptures like ”Go, contend, speak, wrestle, occupy.”  If they really believed the end was near, they should be running from house to house compelling man to turn to Christ in order to “flee the wrath to come.”  They don’t even follow what they claim to believe.

Showing up DOES make a difference. Here is the truth. Even though we did not ask them to, the Muslims took down the billboard that said JESUS IS MUSLIM. This shows the power of showing up and speaking out. Once we began to shine the light on the Truth, THE MUSLIMS TOOK THE LYING BILLBOARD DOWN. Thanks to everyone who braved the weather. Prayer mixed with action does make a difference…just as faith without works is dead, so is prayer without action!! GOD’S NOT DEAD. JUST SHOW UP AND LET GOD SHOW OFF!!! The Muslims know we are watching…

What is Love?  Let me ask you a question…which is a greater demonstration of love? Helping someone after they have been hurt…or preventing them from being hurt? For the most part, our churches are hospitals where the sick are repaired…rather than fortresses where God’s soldiers are trained. If helping someone after they are injured is love…isn’t protecting them before they are injured also love? By speaking the truth to our friends, we can prevent them from being injured rather than helping them be healed. Jesus prayed till blood came out his pores…and then he got up and went…aren’t you glad He did more than pray? Prayer is the power to propel our actions….prayer makes action effectual.

You can’t just pray…and you can’t just go. You must do both. Prayer softens up the enemy…like the air force during a battle. Prayer softens up the enemy so that the ground troops can be more effective. Jesus prayed and went…most Christians only pray; very few go. When you go, the power of prayer can be felt. The idea that God will do for us what we can do for ourselves is misguided. The Word says our faith can move mountains; but sometimes moving the mountain requires us getting a shovel and digging. Why would God end abortion when He gave US the power to end it? Pray and Go. That is the answer.

Most Americans knew very little about Islam before 911.  If you were like me, most of my knowledge of Islam came from the movie “Raiders of The Lost Ark” and Indiana Jones’ journey throughout the Middle East.  Since then, the Muslims have been hard at work teaching us some things that simply are not true.  Most pastors are frighteningly ignorant of Islam.

Our featured speaker last Saturday was Rev. Rusty Thomas.  His fiery speech is posted on our Facebook page.  Permit me to summarize some of the great points he made. He addressed Islam from a legal, historical, and biblical perspective.

(History) Wherever Islam protests in democratic nations, you will observe signs that expose their ideology. “To Hell with Freedom,” “Down with Democracy,” “Islam Will Rule the World,” and other such signs are common place. Once Islam takes root and grows, soon other demands are enacted. Sharia law seeks to supplant the laws of the land in free nations.

Go to any nation where Islam rules and try to find a hint of freedom of speech and religion. You will search in vain. There are only three choices granted in places where Islam dominates. They are: convert, become their slave (Dhimmi), or die. There are no other freedoms, no other choices. Every nation that lets the Islamic camel’s nose into the tent of freedom eventually rues the day.

(Legal) Supreme Court Justice Joseph Storey, who served the high court from 1811-1845, commenting on the meaning of the First Amendment stated, “The real object of the First Amendment was not to countenance, much less to advance Mohammedanism, or Judaism, or infidelity, by prostrating Christianity, but to exclude all rivalry among Christian sects [denominations] and to prevent any national ecclesiastical patronage of the national government.”

No other faith, worldview, or philosophy of man is capable to set men free from the tyranny of sin from within or despotism of men from without. As America resorts back to the brutal darkness of paganism, it is not a coincidence that she is losing her freedoms as well. Islam may very well prove to be the harsh taskmaster to drive home this reality, if our nation does not repent.

(Biblical) No man, religion, worldview, or philosophy has the authority to define or redefine Jesus Christ. He has already revealed Himself in the 66 books that comprise the Holy Bible. God’s Word warns, “Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar” (Proverbs 30:6). Ecclesiastes 3:14 concurs, “I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.” Jesus stated, “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me” (John 5:39). Every word of the Bible points to Him. He is the Word made flesh (John 1:14). No other so-called “holy book” either claims or comes close to this revelation.

If this billboard (Jesus is Muslim) was presented as evidence in a court room, it would be considered perjury. Thus, in the court of public opinion and in religious circles, the billboard needs to be judged as slander, heresy, and blasphemy.”

I used to tell my football teams that often the hardest part of winning is simply showing up.

We showed up, and they took the billboard down.  Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!

I wonder what else would happen if we simply showed up…

Islam – The Religion of Propaganda – Claims Jesus is Muslim

I about wrecked my car when I first saw the billboard. One of my friends had sent me a picture of it, but I had to go and see it for myself. There it was bigger than life! JESUS IS MUSLIM!

“What the heck?” I said under my breath as I watched the electronic billboard switch messages. I don’t know if I have ever read a more ridiculous statement.

Jesus IS (present tense) Muslim. Where do they come up with this crap? We live in an age of universal deceit. This sign was flashing across the landscape in Columbus, Ohio in an attempt to soften the underbelly of American Christians into the acceptance of Chrislam…the merging of Christianity and Islam based on the idea that we “all serve the same God.”

A little more investigation revealed that this was a marketing campaign of the followers of the “Religion of Peace” designed to make the throat-cutters a little more palatable to the tolerance-mesmerized American citizen.

Here is a link to their campaign found at Ask A Muslim which is designed to “educate non-Muslims.” Spend some time on that website. You can see how there are marketing their lies.

But that wasn’t the only message they were putting on the billboards educating we Christian Infidels about the great features of Islam. Their messages rotated on the billboard…

Gee. If I didn’t know better, I would think that Muslims and Christians were just one big happy family sitting under the authority of their Daddy Jehovah/Allah.

Nice of the Muslims to “educate” us, isn’t it? By the way…according to our research that is about $2100 per message…4 messages per sign…$8400 per month per billboard…three different billboards in Columbus…about $25,000 per month to “educate” us on the fact that we are actual brothers.

Our oil money is paying for the “education.”

I guess I don’t understand why, if we all serve the same God, that our Islamic brethren are sharpening their swords on the necks of our Christian friends around the world. Must just be a miss understanding. After all…we all serve the same God…them and all of Jesus’ followers.

I have noticed one unusual aspect of our relationship, however. It seems like the more closely one follows the life of their prophet Mohammed, the more violent one behaves…while true followers of Jesus becoming increasingly more peaceful.

Jesus must not be a very good Muslim.

Here is where it gets gritty. It seems as if some of those who are in Jesus’ half of the family are starting to realize that Allah is just another name for Abba Father. Here is a well-known pastor declaring we serve the same God. Watch the first 2 minutes of this video.

This is dangerous stuff folks. And in case you didn’t know, the Muslims are not decedents of Ishmael, as is often taught in our churches. It might be important for us to get this one right.

We know of two of Abraham’s sons. Ishmael was birthed through his hand maiden Hagar, while Issac came from the loins of his first wife Sarah. That’s right…Sarah was not Abraham’s only wife. After her death, Abraham married, or at least had in his concubine, Keturah, who gave him six sons. It is from this line that the Arab’s descended.

Don’t take my word for it. You can study more about it here. (This is a great link to start.) Most Christians are woefully ignorant about Islam and its origins.

Islam did not begin until Mohammed received a “visitation by an angel” 600 years after the death of Jesus the Christ. How could Jesus be a Muslim?

Muslims “believe in” Jesus. But they believe Jesus was merely a prophet…not the Son of God. Muslims teach “Allah had no children.”

Jesus isn’t Muslim. Jesus is the Son of God.

They are lying to us folks.

How scandalous to use Our Savior to draw people into murderous Islam. Muslims don’t believe that Jesus was the Son of God. They don’t believe He was crucified on the cross. They deny the resurrection. Other than that, they think Jesus is a pretty good camel-jockey. They’re OK with the fact he lied about the God-thing. Muslims think lying is cool. The end justifies the means. Anything to advance Islam…even putting up lying messages about Jesus on billboards. All good Muslims lie.

Why would they do that? Because they can’t hold up their own prophet as a role model…even though their religion teaches Mohammed was the “perfect man.” We need look no further than WDMD, What Did Mohammed Do?

For starters, Mohammed married a six-year old girl, although he was kind enough to wait until she was nine to consummate the marriage. He wasn’t very good on women’s rights either. No wonder they have to use Jesus to try and draw folks into Islam. Pedophilia is a hard sell, even in today’s seeker sensitive, judge-not churches.

I have watched the local news every night for a week waiting for someone to raise a stink about dragging Our Savior through the mud. We have challenged the pastors to fight back because souls are at risk.

Silence. They are cowardly. They know the message on the billboard is a lie. They know it will lead people into Islam. They know Jesus is being used to further the enemy’s agenda, but they don’t care. They have bills to pay, ears to tickle…and Jesus is returning soon…so why bother? Let’s just let Jesus clean up the mess when He comes back any day now.

Well, we are going to do something about it. We are going to call the Muslims out. We want them to prove what they put on those billboards. We support their right to do it. We believe in free speech. But we want them to put up or shut up. We are not afraid of them. We are gathering to make sure that Columbus knows that JESUS WAS NOT MUSLIM!!

When David ran towards Goliath he yelled “Who is that uncircumcised Philistine that defies the armies of the living God?”

How dare them!
How dare they hijack Jesus during the most sacred of Christian seasons? Can you imagine if Christians had put a billboard up in a Muslim neighborhood reading “JESUS IS LORD” during Ramadan? You know what the reaction would be…hope you have fire insurance.

Free speech is a Christian ideal. There is no free speech in Muslim countries. First they want to hijack our airplanes, then our Constitution, soon our nation, and now they want to hijack our Lord to advance their agenda.

Tell me Pastors, when will enough be enough? Where will you draw your line in the sand?

I’ve drawn mine. It is time to push back. Is there not a cause? Jesus isn’t Muslim. Jesus is Lord. Jesus Akbar!

Please pray for us and Take 5 minutes to watch this.

The Bible Verse That Could Land Scott Walker in a Major Battle With Atheists

An atheist group is demanding that Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) remove a Bible verse posted to his social media accounts Sunday, calling it “improper” for a politician to promote personal religious views using “the machinery of the state.”

The Freedom From Religion Foundation wrote a letter to Walker asking him to delete the message, which read simply, “Philippians 4:13,” from his official Facebook and Twitter accounts.

The popular New Testament Bible verse reads, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

“We’re waiting to hear from [the governor],” Freedom From Religion Foundation co-president Dan Barker told TheBlaze Wednesday.

Philippians 4:13

If Walker refuses to remove the verse, Barker said his organization will explore its options, including possible legal action.

“A lawsuit is always a possibility,” he said. “We can’t take every lawsuit and you can’t talk about lawsuits too early because there’s too many factors.”

Barker said he’s most concerned with the notion that Walker used his government position to promote his Christian worldview.

While the Freedom From Religion Foundation disagrees with the placement of the verse on Walker’s social media accounts, Barker told TheBlaze that the governor is free to express his religious views, so long as he publishes or utters faith-based statements outside of his official capacity.

“We don’t want to limit his religious freedom either, but he represents all of us,” said Barker, who lives in Wisconsin.

If indeed Walker says the verse was personal and not sent from a government device, Barker said his organization will investigate and, if it checks out, the situation might simply be settled, though he offered no guarantees.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation also published a statement on its website Tuesday in which Barker and his fellow co-president and wife Annie Laurie Gaylor said the Bible-based message “seems more like a threat, or the utterance of a theocratic dictator, than of a duly elected civil servant.”

Calls to Walker’s press office for comment were not returned.

Christians Must Become Militant If They Are To Survive

(Walid Shoebat) — If Christians are to survive, they are going to have to become militant, rather than relying on the watered down secular Conservative Movement.

The Conservative Movement is becoming a cult. It has become a group that accepts only a number of morals from Christianity, while being either indifferent or sometimes vindictive toward the theology and spirituality of Christianity, reducing the entire system of Christ to a mere private and individual belief. Allow me to lend you an example of what I mean.

In a rally organized by the Mormon, Glenn Beck, in which Beck promoted the heresy of Universalism, numerous pastors attended as supporters of the cause for which the event stood. Of these pastors was Jerry Falwell, Jr., and when he was asked in regards to the theological differences his Faith had with Beck’s, Jerry responded with these dangerously accepted words:

Glenn Beck’s Mormon faith is irrelevant. People of all faiths, all races and all creeds spoke and attended the event. Nobody was there to endorse anyone else’s faith, but we were all there to honor our armed forces and to call the people of America to restore honor.

Jerry belittled the heresies which Beck preached, esteeming the rally as simply one to “restore honor” in the country, without even admitting the dangerous ideas that the Mormon promoted, which can be easily identified in this video:

While Jerry claims he just wants to help “restore honor,” he illustrates the worst lack of honor: an absence of honor towards God, as he harlots himself to the false god of Beck, which is the same as the feigned deity of Muhammad. Jerry, and the rest of the pastors who attended the event, praised a Mormon and disregarded orthodox theology, are no different than Rob Bell who, in this video, is seen welcoming and clapping his hands to both the Islamic religion and the Dalai Lama:

The only difference between Bell and his ilk, and Beck and those like him, is that one is obviously and blatantly evil, while the latter is cloaked with a conservative and clean cut look, and comes with societally accepted words of patriotism and feigned piety.

Herein lies the central creed of the Conservative Movement: believe in a god (doesn’t matter which one); say you are pro-life (while being indifferent to contraception, which prevents, and with some products, destroys life); say you are for traditional marriage, while trumping the freedom for homosexuals to indulge in their deviant acts (as long as it is within the privacy of their own home, of course); say you believe in tolerance for all faiths because that is “what the Founding Fathers wanted.”

I may have missed something in the description of the secular creed (and if I did, forgive me), but these tenets are, overall, what the Conservative Movement is composed of. One great example of this is Ted Cruz exhorting Obama to combat Putin’s anti-homosexual laws, as you can see in this video I made:

If Ted is truly the Christian he says he is, he would not be calling out for the rights and freedoms of blaspheming rock bands like Pussy Riot and sodomites.

The positive aspect of the Conservative Movement is that it contains some Christian morality, but its negative nature is illustrated by its utter lack of fastidiousness toward orthodox theology.

If theology truly is irrelevant, then by this same logic the theology of Obama, with all its support and sympathies toward Islam, should be equally irrelevant.

With that said, the main aspect of the Conservative Movement that is destructive, is that it forces a number of Christian morals into a political sphere, and deems the whole of Christianity to an individual’s own spirituality and interpretation, without ever conceding, or wanting to concede, that Christianity itself is political.

Christianity is not a Faith designed for private belief, but for the universal expansion of God’s truth with the intent of vanquishing the lies of Satan.

The Spirit of Christianity, is revolution. When Nebuchadnezzar demanded that the people of God bow down to the golden image, they expressed their revolt by refusing to comply; when Mordecai was expected to supplicate towards Haman, he outrightly spurned such a thought; and when Antiochus commanded that the Hebrews make sacrifices to Jupiter, the Maccabees took up their swords and fought hand to hand and blade to blade.

If Christians are going to survive, not only will we have to become militant, but we will have to cooperate in rescuing persecuted Christians from being massacred by Muslims throughout the Islamic world. Please donate to save Christian lives in Syria, Iraq, and Pakistan.

Christianity permeates every aspect of society, in politics, family life, arts, music, literature, and war.

When St. Peter struck off the ear of the guard, Christ commanded him to “Put up thy sword into the sheath” (John 18:11), which indicates that the sword was never discarded, but that it remained within the grasp of the Church. St. Peter was reprimanded by Christ, not for the use of the sword itself, but because it was not the appropriate occasion to execute his weapon, for Christ told him, “the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?” (John 18:11). Christ, then, allowed Himself to be killed and did not desire that the zeal of Peter hinder His ultimate mission.

St. Peter attacking the guard

St. Peter attacking the guard

There is, therefore, an appropriate time for the Church to unsheathe the sword that St. Peter possessed. This leads us to the theology of The Two Swords of St. Peter, a doctrine long forgotten today, but strongly emphasized in the ancient Church. The concept is centrally based on Luke 22, when Jesus tells His disciples, “he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one,” and St. Peter responds, “Lord, behold, here are two swords”, and Jesus says, “It is enough.”

One sword represents the temporal, or political power of the Church, and the other signifies the spiritual authority of the Church. When St. Peter declared the final decision in the Council of Jerusalem, condemning obligatory circumcision, as is recorded in Acts 15, he was unsheathing his spiritual sword against the Judaizers.

St. Peter with sword

St. Peter with sword

When St. Peter affirmed that “We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29), he was unsheathing the political sword, in that he commanded defiance toward the political power of the Jewish leaders when they were attempting to prevent the Christians from preaching. When St. Peter was upholding this authority, he was zealously following what Christ commanded specifically of him:

strengthen your brethren. (Luke 22:32)

And in strengthening his brethren, he was fortifying them against Satan, protecting them from the dark powers through the two swords.

The Last Supper

The Last Supper

St. Peter struck off the ear of the guard with the political sword, and yet it was not discarded but still remained in his sheath. Therefore, the political sword remains in the hands of the Church. But when Christ reprimanded St. Peter for his use of the sword, it was an indication that the Church was not designed to be a central government, or the only political authority ruling over nations and punishing evil doers. Therefore, while the Church is in possession of the political sword, she does not strike her enemies herself, but commands temporal rulers to use it against her persecutors. Thus St. Bernard writes to the Church:

Both [swords] are yours, but both must not be taken out by your hand (1)

St. Bernard furthermore declares to the Church:

The material sword has to be taken out by the hand of the soldier at the command of the emperor but subject to the nod of the supreme priest. (2)

St. Bernard

St. Bernard

In the necessity of a holy war, against heretics and pagans who are persecuting Christians, it is the Church that uses the state as a vehicle to unleash the political sword on God’s enemies.

We see this illustrated in the prophet Samuel when he commanded king Saul:

Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey. (I Samuel 15:3)

We also see this in the Church, when Pope Callixtus III commanded a crusade in 1456 to fight off the Turks in Serbia, in what is called The Siege of Belgrade.

Now, this is not to say that the only ones with authority to fight against persecutors are government rulers. In times when the enemies of the Church are slaughtering Christians and there is no government righteous enough to help them, then in such a circumstance the Church may execute the political sword.

For Elijah gave this command to the people of Israel, and not the corrupt government of Ahab:

“Seize the prophets of Baal! Do not let one of them escape!” So they seized them; and Elijah brought them down to the Brook Kishon and executed them there.” (I Kings 18:40)

Elijah killing the prophets of Baal

Elijah killing the prophets of Baal

And the earliest Christians were ready to stone the guards if they arrested St. Peter and the other Apostles with violence:

Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned. (Acts 5:26)

Mattathias, the father of Judas Maccabeus, was a priest, and he did not hesitate to unsheathe his sword and slay the soldiers of Antiochus when they were forcing the people to worship their idols.

Moses slew the Egyptian who was abusing a Hebrew, an action St. Stephen esteemed to be one of justice, saying,

seeing one of them suffer wrong, he [Moses] defended and avenged him who was oppressed, and struck down the Egyptian. For he supposed that his brethren would have understood that God would deliver them by his hand, but they did not understand. (Acts 7:24-25)

Therefore, if Moses and Mattathias attacked their persecutors to protect themselves, then the Church has the same authority to protect herself.

St. Stephen

St. Stephen

In Christianity, there is not an absolute severing of Church from state, but rather a perfect harmony between the two. It is the state’s duty to resolve secular and political matters, while the Church is commissioned to deal with spiritual issues. But here is when the two entities come into harmony: when a political matter pertains to the spiritual well-being of the people, or is connected to any point of religion, it is the Church, and not the state, that has the authority to resolve it. Hence Christ commands St. Peter, the bearer of the two swords, to “Feed My sheep” (John 21:17), meaning to care for his flock, spiritually and temporally (when the temporal situation pertains to religion).

You may disagree with me, but the strength of your contention is easily revealed once it is put against the modern results of secular government (abortion, the homosexual agenda, etc). For in our times, it is the state, and not the Church, that dictates when life begins; it is the state, and not the Church, that determines what is and what is not marriage. I can give a number of more examples, but I will refrain for the sake of brevity.

St. Gregory VII beautifully explains this equilibrium between Church and state, when he wrote in one epistle:

Among other welcome expressions therein, this seemed especially calculated to advance the glory of the imperial government and also to strengthen the power of Holy Church, namely, that the empire and the priesthood should be bound together in harmonious union. For, as the human body is guided by two eyes for its physical illumination, so the body of Christ is guided and enlightened with spiritual light when these two offices work together in the cause of pure religion. (3)

Dante sublimely describes how the Church should direct the state for the purpose of spreading the Light of God throughout the world:

Let Caesar therefore show that reverence towards Peter which a firstborn son should show his father, so that, illumined by the light of paternal grace, he may the more effectively light up the world, over which he has been placed by Him alone who is ruler over all things spiritual and temporal. (4)

As the flesh must be governed by the spirit, so must the state be governed by the Church. The secular Conservative Movement wants us to think that the state must be ruled under a secular, but conservative government, without any acknowledgment toward theology or the nature of the true God. Their logic is the same as affirming that the spirit must be ruled by the flesh.

The secular conservatives will argue that they are not for the state overpowering the Church. But, what they will not admit, is that as the spirit and the flesh will always be in constant war with each other, so will the state and the Church be in continuous combat, ceaselessly fighting until one conquers the other, unless a harmony between the two is established, and the Two Swords of St. Peter are unsheathed against those who wish to enslave the saints and replace the sublime Law of Heaven with the lawlessness of antichrist.

If the Church is going to survive, it must stop cease this harlotry with secularism, and become militant. Christus Vincit!

Some Air Force Cadets So Angry Over What Happened With Bible Verses on Campus They Have Staged a ‘Revolt’

The leader of a church-state separatist group says that there’s a “revolt” underway at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., after officials there removed a Bible verse from a white board outside a cadet’s bedroom door following complaints that its presence was offensive.

Cadets angry over the Air Force Academy’s removal of the verse have since begun posting scripture from the Bible and the Koran on their whiteboards in solidarity, said Mikey Weinstein, president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation.

“The Air Force Academy has a revolt on their hands. What are they going to do?” Weinstein told TheBlaze Wednesday.

The Bible battle started after an unnamed cadet placed text from Galatians 2:20 on a whiteboard. It read, “I have been crucified with Christ therefore I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.”

Weinstein said 29 cadets and four faculty and staff members — 26 of whom he described as Catholic or Protestant — disagreed with the verse’s presence and reached out to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation to complain. Weinstein then contacted the Air Force Academy with concerns and the verse was subsequently removed.

“Had it been in his room — not a problem. It’s not about the belief. It’s about the time, the place and the manner,” Weinstein told conservative commentator Todd Starnes this week. “It clearly elevated one religious faith over all others at an already virulently hyper-fundamentalist Christian institution. It massively poured fundamentalist Christian gasoline on an already raging out-of-control conflagration of fundamentalist Christian tyranny, exceptionalism and supremacy at [the academy].”

Weinstein said posting verses outside a bedroom door is unacceptable and illegal because that’s part of the “working squadron area” — a central and public location where cadets assemble.

But it seems some at the academy disagreed with both the removal and with the activist’s assessment of the situation.

Bible and Koranic verses are reportedly being posted on cadets' doors at the Air Force Academy in Colorado (Image credit: Military Religious Freedom Foundation)

Weinstein shared an email with TheBlaze he said came from an unnamed agnostic cadet at the school highlighting the action that’s now underway.

“After the Fox News article was released about the Bible verse being removed from a cadet’s whiteboard, a population of the cadet wing has in turn responded with addition religious quotes placed outside their doors in the public hallways; one of which being the original quote that was removed,” the cadet’s alleged letter read.

It continued, “Theses posts, quotes, and comments on social media have created a hostile environment and have lead to a decrease in unit cohesion and morale and are unprofessional in the military environment.”

Weinstein is now calling on the Air Force Academy to take action against those individuals who are posting scripture messages outside their doors, though he indicated that he isn’t sure how widespread the problem is.

“It’s a toxic environment there,” Weinstein said of the academy. “When you have a law that is followed more in its breach than in its compliance … it’s worse than if you didn’t have the law at all.”

Weinstein cited an Air Force culture standards document which outlines how faith and religion should be handled within the Air Force.

2.11. Government Neutrality Regarding Religion. Leaders at all levels must balance constitutional protections for an individual’s free exercise of religion or other personal beliefs and the constitutional prohibition against governmental establishment of religion. For example, they must avoid the actual or apparent use of their position to promote their personal religious beliefs to their subordinates or to extend preferential treatment for any religion. Commanders or supervisors who engage in such behavior may cause members to doubt their impartiality and objectivity. The potential result is a degradation of the unit’s morale, good order, and discipline. Airmen, especially commanders and supervisors, must ensure that in exercising their right of religious free expression, they do not degrade morale, good order, and discipline in the Air Force or degrade the trust and confidence that the public has in the United States Air Force.

Weinstein said those who put Bible verses on their doors deserve “non-judicial punishment at the very least.”

Those who are put on trial for specific violations in the Air Force could see their pay docked, be kicked out or even go to jail, he said, though there is no indication that these ramifications would apply in this particular case.

Weinstein is willing to take the Air Force Academy to court if the issue isn’t resolved.

Air Force Academy spokesman Lt. Col. Brus Vidal told Starnes regarding officials’ removal of the first cadet’s verse, there was no misconduct and that the unnamed cadet won’t be punished.

He said there’s a “gray area” when it comes to one’s personal room and the hallway, where the message was posted.

“The whiteboards are for both official and personal use, but when a concern was raised we addressed it and the comment was taken down,” Vidal said.

Weinstein disagreed, saying that the incident showed “absolute misconduct” and that the individual should be punished.

Other legal analysts take a different stance on the matter.

“If the cadet didn’t violate any rules, then why was the quote removed?” Michael Berry, senior counsel for the conservative legal firm the Liberty Institute’s said in a statement. “It appears that the Air Force now believes Bible verses are a violation of AFI 1-1.”

In fact, Berry said the removal of the Bible verse and any punishment is actually a violation of the Department of Defense Instruction 1300.17, a provision that protects soldiers’ religious liberty.

“Unless it could have an adverse impact on military readiness, unit cohesion, and good order and discipline, the Military Departments will accommodate individual expressions of sincerely held beliefs (conscience, moral principles, or religious beliefs) of Service members in accordance with the policies and procedures in this instruction…,” the provision states in part.

Air Force Academy officials did not respond to a request for comment from TheBlaze.
