Charles Barkley Pushes Back When CNN Reporter Alleges Racially-Charged Police Killing Was ‘Homicide’

(H/T TheBlaze)

In a new interview with CNN, former NBA all-star Charles Barkley pushed back after reporter Brooke Baldwin alleged the officer-involved death of Eric Garner in New York was a “homicide.” A grand jury has yet to issue a decision in the controversial police chokehold that resulted in Garner’s death earlier this year.

“I don’t think that was a homicide,” Barkley replied.

“What was that? It was a chokehold, you see it,” Baldwin shot back.

“I think that cops were trying to arrest him and they got a little aggressive,” Barkley said. “I think excessive force, you know, something like that. But to go right to murder — Brooke, when the cops are trying to arrest you, if you fight back, things go wrong.”

He also said he doesn’t believe the cops were trying to kill Garner, but he was a “big” man and they were trying to get him to the ground.

“Homicide” is defined as the “killing of one human being by another,” and can include noncriminal killings. Barkley appeared to be arguing that the killing didn’t amount to murder.

ISIS Beheads American Peter Kassig, Recent Convert to Islam & Former Army Ranger

(H/T Breitbart)

The Islamic State (IS/ISIS/ISIL) released a video on Sunday showing what the group claims is the severed head of American aid worker Peter Kassig.

Kassig, who previously served the United States military as an Army Ranger, was captured last year while delivering medical aid to a region in northern Syria.

In the video, the jihadi executioner says to the camera, while standing above what he claims is the severed head of Kassig:

This is Peter Edwards Kassig, a US citizen of your country. Peter, who fought against the Muslims in Iraq whilst serving as a soldier in the American army, doesn’t have much to say. His previous cellmates have already spoken on his behalf.

“But we say to you Obama. You claim to have withdrawn from Iraq four years ago. We said to you then that you were liars, that you had not withdrawn. And that if you had withdrawn you would return even after some time – you would return.”

The masked jihadi continued:

Your forces will return greater in number than they were before. We also remind you of the haunting words of our Sheikh Abu Musab al-Zarqawi told you. The spark has been lit here in Iraq and it’s heat will continue to intensify by Allah’s permission until it burns the crusader army.

The ISIS militant then says his group intends to kill and bury American troops under Syrian soil, “eagerly waiting for the remainder of your armies to arrive,” he taunts.

Wait Until You See What’s Inside the Car

(H/T TheBlaze)

Here’s a CEO really putting all his trust in the product.

Texas Armoring Corporation released a video Monday of an employee firing a dozen AK-47 rounds into an SUV — with the boss inside.

Lawrence Kosub, the company’s sales and export compliance manager, fired an AK-47 at a Mercedes-Benz that Texas Armored Cars had outfitted to be bulletproof. To prove his confidence in their product, company president and CEO R. Trent Kimball took the driver’s seat first.

The video showed that even after a dozen bullets were fired directly at the front window, the glass didn’t shatter, and neither did Kimball’s nerves of steel: The CEO barely moved at all while the bullets smashed into the glass, just inches from his face.

[Watch] Benghazi Heat On – Michele Bachman Grills Former Acting CIA Director

Rep Michelle Bachman (R-MN) grills former acting CIA acting director Mike Morell, about his testimony as to a protest being the initial cause of the September 11th 2012 attacks in Benghazi and his changing of the talking points.

She cites physical evidence and places the responsibility for a more administration-friendly version of the talking points squarely with Morell.

He does his best to offer a defense, but seems unaware that one of the people he “quotes” to shore up his position, the chief of station, had been interviewed the previous day by this same committee behind closed doors. The chief of station’s version of the events and his opinion of the root cause do not concur with the way Morell attempts to characterize them.

WATCH: Man With Road Rage Gets Dose of ‘Instant Karma’

Imagine this: you’re being tailgated and finally the offending vehicle passes you, flipping the bird as they sail by as if you were the one doing something wrong. You take a deep breath, exhale slowly and try to take comfort in thinking that someday justice will be served.

That’s probably what a Florida driver thought, except this driver got to see “instant karma” happen right before her eyes — and she caught it on camera.

The YouTuber going by the username Florida Driver posted video Wednesday, saying that she’d been tailed by the truck driver for three minutes.

“After about a minute, and me shaking my head, I pulled out my phone and started recording. I couldn’t move over because there were trucks in the right lane, and I sure as heck wasn’t going to speed on a rainy day with the roads being as slick as they were. I was turning left in about a half-mile when this happened,” the driver wrote.

“Now bear in mind, that this guy had already passed a truck in a left turn lane, was tailgating and driving recklessly on a wet slick road, wasn’t paying attention, and all in all being an ignorant [a**]. In the full video which I will post later, you will be able to see that not once was I mouthing off, I never brake checked him, and in fact until I watched the video after the accident I didn’t even know he shot a bird at me because I wasn’t looking at him at all, I was paying attention to the road while holding the phone up with my right hand,” the driver continued.

Just after the man driving the black Ford pickup truck passed this driver and changed lanes, he lost control and spun out into a grassy median.

“That’s what you get,” the woman filming yelled as she laughed.

Watch what the incident as it unfolded (Content warning: offensive hand gesture):

According to the driver who recorded the footage, the man in the truck fled the scene but with the video, law enforcement were able to identify and charge the driver.

“This moron could have easily killed somebody with his moronic behavior, and my laughing at the end would have been replaced with tears. Needless to say though, I’ve never seen Karma come back so fast,” the videographer wrote.
